Alone to Chennai

I will be traveling to Chennai, alone, next week. The place where I'm going to stay is about 7 kms from the station. How much should I pay the auto-walas. are they the same like Bangalore and Mysore?

Depends on the charges. But be careful. Pretend as if you have already visited the place before. This really helps, If they sense that you are visitng there for the second time they might end up charging you more.
