Hi everyone...

I'm Akshaya and I'm planning a trip to Goa wth 4 other friends for the last weekend of the month. None of us have been to Goa before and I've been looking around for accomodation but not been able to narrow down on anything. any suggestions? (anything tat'll work out to about 300/head a night would be gr8)

I was actually wondering if anyone knows if i can find a place tat'll allow 4 of us in one room?

Goa tourism has accommodation at Calangute - Calangute Residency Annexe (may have Dorm) & tourist hotels elsewhere which should be within your budget

I would recommend that you try a hoestay instead of a Hotel. December can get expensive/crowded in Dec as its peak season.

Hi Akshaya,

I would suggest Chalston Beach Resort in Calagute. A standard double room costs around Rs.1000 (or less)per night for non-AC and about Rs.1200-1400 for AC. However, you will have to check with them about 4 of you'll in 1 room - maybe an extra bed should do! The biggest plus of this resort (other than the price) is its location! They have a private entrance to the main Calangute Beach, at the same time, its away from the crowd. You will get a better idea once you read my review on the same. Call and check with them...try to talk it out! I hope you are visiting Goa in the end of November and not December... as the rates will surely be much higher (almost double the standard rates) during the peak season!

Well the answers have already been given..go for Chalston if you can add some more or else go for Dorm in GTDC ( you can see the status on line perhaps).
