My wife and me are planning to go to Dandeli for a short trip? How is the place? How far is it from Bangalore? train or bus which will be a better option?

Bangalore to Dandeli is 448 km and takes approx 7 hrs by road.Dandeli does not have railway station. Alnavar is a nearby train station connected to Bangalore. There are few expresses which runs between these two destinations. You can also opt for private cars which takes you straight to Dandeli.
