What are the places we can visit in Kanyakumari in a day visit? I only came up with the Rock memorial, Museum. Can we finish our tour in a day? What else can we visit over there? And where else can we head to after that?

Well, Kanyakumari is mostly famous for the 'cape' location. You won't find a place is many places, wherefrom, you can see 2 sea/ocean from one point. The Vivekananda Rock (100 meters from the shore) is another item of tourist attraction. The Padmanabhapuram Palace (palace of earstwhile Travancore rulers) is about an hours drive. Kanyakumari also has a water theme amusement park 'Baywatch'. All said and done, is you want to, you can cover all these places comfortably in a day. Personally, I would suggest an overnight stay as one needs to 'walk around' a place to have a 'feel' of it rather than mere hop.

For subsequent journey, you can choose Kodaikanal (324 km), Ooty (520 km), Kovalam (74 km), Cochin (309 km), Kumarakom (248 km).
