Dear Vinayak,

Hotel Woodland would be the best choice, for the budget you are looking for. Its a clean and calm hotel, except for the noise of monkeys jumping on the roof, food is the USP its vegetarian food, very nice place to stay.

dear vinayak...
last month i visited matheran.i stayed in adamo the village hotel.it was a nice stay over there.hope you can see the .Adamo Village enjoys the benefits of an excellent location, right in the middle of the market place, and this makes it easy for guests to experience all that Matheran has to offer.
very friendly .beautiful .especially food. The hotel is now owned by Ajmera group and is now renamed Adamo Village.tariff varies during weekdays & weekends.
The hotel primarily caters to family looking for weekend getaways. It has a swimming pool & plenty of play area.
Room have sit-out area to enjoy tea/coffee during downpour.
Staff is very courteous.
Be wary of monkeys around the hotel.

have a beautiful stay

Dear Vinayak,

Hotel Brightland is the place i stayed in.It has excellent rooms, clean and hygienic bathrooms,a small nice swimming pool and a pool side bar.The outdoor ambience is good a and the service is prompt, warm and homely. Its closer to all the other tourist spots and will comfortably fit into your budget. In case u r going on a week day it will be better.Less crowd, cheaper tariff and exclusive service.Best of luck.

Regards,
Sunil

Dear Vinayak,

During Diwali Vacation i stay at hotel royal at matheran allongwith my family - 03 members. i spent Rs 8750 for two night stay package inclusive morning breakfast to night dinner. it was very nice experience at there. if you like to pass more time with your honey, its a great place. you have not any disturbance by croud. the place is not having any major spot but it is very nice natural place where you can enjoy with your honey, sweat voice of birds & lot of trees at there.

Dear Vinayak,
Matheran is indeed a good place to enjoy.
There are many budget hotels and also luxury hotels to stay .
Most of the hotel offer 2N/3D packages including food on BLD basis.
Howeve the time you have chosen is a peak season and the rates command a premium.
You can search for all varieties of hotels on http://www.holidayiq.com
Enjoy your holidays!! Regards,

Dear Vinayak,
Matheran is a fascinating hill-station 80-km east of Mumbai in Alibag district is situated at an Altitude of 800m. This little hill paradise has been left largely undisturbed, since the time when an Englishman, Hugh Mallet, Collector of Thane, discovered it in 1850 and declared it a fine place for shady walks.
Matheran is the closest hill station to Mumbai and pune. Ideally suited for the weekend Matheran provides a break from the city. Perched on top of a hill and enveloped in shady trees, Matheran is ringed by walking tracks.
