Hi Vinay!

Its definitely cold in Dec. You need proper heavy woolen clothes. It may be sunny during the day but nights are generally very very cold.
Enjoy ur vacation

Should be a good time to stay as well as for tuting. Snow fall may not begin till end Dec but you can witness snowfall on local sightseeing tours from Shimla / Manali You certainly need to take heavy woolens

Have a nice time !

Hi,
Just enjoy the snow and cold . Good decision.
1. carry warm dresses.
2. Plan full trip- reserve hotel taxis in advance. Get a reputed tour operator do this. Otherwise you will be spending time haggling taxi drivers and hotels instead of honey mooning.
3. Go to rohtang pass at any cost.
good luck

Hi Vinay

Well the first week of December would be one of the best times to visit Manali, if you don't mind the cold and in fact would like to enjoy it with your partner.

Although you will not be able to enjoy snow during that time, but it will be just enough cold for you to be active during the day to go sightseeing and then cuddle up during the evenings/night at your hotel. Try getting a hotel with a fireplace and enjoy!

Sumit.
