If me and my family go to digha. Can we enjoy over there? Is it a family kind off a place or is it a place where only youths can enjoy?

Dear Pradhyut,

Of course it is a nice to visit with your family.

Book Hotel Sea Hawk if you are staying at Old DIgha.

Yes, rowdies are there as it is with every popular destinations in India. It is not at a serious level where you need to take it as a Travel Warning.

If you really want peace and good relaxation and good discounts, the best days will be Tuesday check in Friday Check out.

Regards,
Swastik

Digha is now a happy-haunting place for most of the week-enders. It is not merely a spot of mirth and merriment by the youth, but also a wonderful respite for a family. The family comprising members of different ages should be advised to put up in Old Digha, preferably at Barister Para, where one finds a number of good hotels like Sea-Hawk( first preference), Sea-Coast, Dolphin, Sonar Bangla and so on. The ambience here is tranquil and without the hue and cry unlike that of in the market place. New Digha is well-planned with plenty of hotels of different budgets. But, from none, sea view is possible. Besides, New Digha is infested with picnic parties which tell upon the quiet.
