Hello Anuradha,

The best way to Hassan is via Mangalore Highway. The route to take is Tumkur road(NH4)-left at Nelamangala junction to connect Mangalore highway-Kunigal-Channarayapatna-Hassan. The road is in excellent shape. Currently, there is road widening work going on. So, drive safe!

If you are staying near Electronice city/Bannerghatta Road/Kanakpura Road then you can take the NICE road which has connectivity till Tumkur road. Though the journey is longer by distance, you can save half the time during peak hours.

If u have your own vehicle, then take that, no other travel is good than self driving,
if not then go by 100 of buses that go daily including volvo buses, or u can catch up a train also.
but your own vehicle is good, because if u have plans to visit nearby places then it will save time and energy.
