Hi, I'm planing to go to Chakrata by from Delhi between 24th. March to 28th.March.

Can any one suggest route, places to see and route from Chakrata to Mussourie.

Hi,
Been there 5 yrs ago so info maybe a bit dated.
Stayed at Snowview, had a horrible experience, check my review on this site. There was only one other option in those days. Nothing much to do except the waterfalls.
Travelling to Mussorie takes 6 to 7 hrs as the roads are narrow and not well maintained. Pl hire a driver who knows the area as the road is very lonely and not signposted well.

Hi Vijay,

Am already late in posting the reply, but am writing if you have delayed your idea of being to chakrata. Chakrata is a very nice and peaceful place, but I took pleasure being there only because of snowfall and snow. Otherwise there is nothing to visit there. If it is a 1-2 days trip and you only want to sit and relax, then it is a nice place to visit.

Route from mussoorie to Chakrata is really narrow and you need a good cab driver.

Hotel Snowview is a good option to stay.

Thanks for information. Unfortunately, my programme changed and we visited only mussoorie. But thaks . I may plan my trip again in May.
