How to go from Mussoorie to Yamunotri

Hi,
I will be going to Mussoorie in the last week of September. Could any one please tell me
i) How will be weather then?
ii) Do we get buses or shared jeep or taxi drop from Mussoorie to Hanuman Chatti / Janki Chatti on way to Yamunotri?
iii) If you answer "yes" to part (ii) then please provide one or two travel agents' names for one way taxi hiring.
iv) If you have suggestions on how to go from Mussoorie to Yamunotri please feel free to share them
