Hyderabad a city or a attraction?

Is Hyderabad more of a city or attraction? If attraction what are the main attractions in Hyderabad? We are a group of 5 and we like some suggestions of any good hotels for 2 days 3 nights. Thank you.

Hyderabad alongwith the twin city of Secunderabad is a combination of history with cosmopolitan culture. It has attractions to suit every need.
The city of Hyderabad boasts of several historical monuments one stares with awe. Charminar...Mecca Masjid (17th. century)...Chowmahalla Palace (closed on national holidays and Fridays, rest open from 1000-1700 hours)...Falaknuma Palace (built in 1872)...Golkonda Fort (inclidung a light-and-sound show starting from 1830 hours onwards)...Qutb Shahi Tombs...The Nizam's Museum (closed on Friday. rest open from 1000-1700 hours)...Moula Ali Dargah...Salar Jung Museum (closed on Friday, rest open from 1000 to 1700 hours, ticket issue closed at 1615 hours)...Birla Mandir (dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, open from 1000-1200 & 1400-2000 hours)...Hussain Sagar Lake (built in 1562).

Another 'must see' is the Ramoji Film City. The world's largest integrated studio spread at over 2000 acres situated in Hyderabad-Vijaywada Highway (NH-9), 25 km from hyderabad.

Hyderabad is again, famous for anyone who is pallatable about Hyderabadi Biryani,Halim,Chicken 65,Pathar-ka-ghosht. Having Biryani at Paradise (Secunderabad) is a must.

Yatri Nivas, as suggested by my friend Subbiah is a good choice. I has stayed there myself quite a few times and is recommendable.
