After doing darshan from Vaishnodevi, get to Jammu, from there you will get the Bus to Shrinagar, where you can visit Sonmarg & gulmarg.

However for reaching shimla you have to reach first chandigarh & then you can move to shimla by VOLVO bus or private car, take much time.

In any case I suggest you prior booking of the hotels as this time is peak season for both of this location

thanks.but i think shimla is better for me because i m frm bihar so srinagar is in opposite side for me. I m planning to go to shimla,kullu,manali,rohtang pass,kufri and then kalka from toy train and take a train from delhi to patna.

thanks rahul for your suggestion. i will take bus for chandigarh and then go to shimla from kalka by toy train.

Thanks for your advise but my dad is in bank. So i will get holiday home easily.

Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonmarg etc. anytime as compared to shimla.

After the darshan you can go to Dalhousie, Khajjiar, Chamba and then from Chamba you can go to manali. And fro Manali you can go the shimla.

In my view srinagar is a better option. go to gulmarg,where you will get plenty of ice and go to the second highest point in gulmarg throught gandola ride(rope-way ride) second point is really woth seeing. you will feel the beauty of real heaven there. avoid sonmarg as it is really worst and horse owners cheat you there. see srinagar local sight seeing. please contact me for suggestions of some accomodations too. as the local kashmiris are very crook type of people and we stayed in a very good and economic hotel there. you can skip sonmarg and see tulip garden and then you can go to pehelgam too.

Hi,

Best option would be Srinagar and ahead, if for some reasons you opt out then came back till Chakki Bank and from there to Dalhousie and dharamshala. Leave Shimla as it is completly off-route.
