Madikery in May?

Hi
I m planning to visit madikery in last week of may.i have few questions to ask esteemed members
1. Is it good time to visit?
2.do rains starts during this time? If yes then is it still good to visit with family and kids?
3.I m planning for about 2 and half day and 3 nights,will that be sufficient time?
4.planning to stay in Orange county resort,is it worth of penny I m going to spend?
5.i come across some comments in various forums about madikery being not so great destination and nothing much to sight seeing,is it correct?

1. Yes you can visit it in May but it will be summertime before monsoon and the temperature will be on the higher side. But still, it is never too extreme out there and evenings are always pleasant.

2. Monsoon normally starts in June... there may be premonsoon showers but one can't be sure...

3. 2-3 days should be enough to cover main attractions...

5. It is definitely a popular place to visit. But eventually it depends on your personal preferences. Do go though the user experiences regarding the place here,

It will definitely hot but evenings are pleasant. Orange county is worth every penny. There is enough to keep you occupied for 3 days. Go see the buddhist temple and Dobare for apleasant time. Try the local cuisine at a restaurant opp the post office which says Coorg Cuisine on its signboard.
