2.5 days plan to ooty from PUNE

Hello Friends,

I am planning trip to mysore & ooty from pune with frinds (Gents)by car in mid august. I am gone leave from pune on friday in the evening. as per my plan we reach till saturday morning to mysore or saturday noon to ooty.we have to get back early in the morning on tuesday(till 2-3 am) so we are able to go for office on tuesday. So for 2- 2.5 day is their any suggestion for how to plan? where to visit? Also let me know about the chek post timing because i get to know that Mudumalai forest chek post close the road for night so please tell me those things also

Is this a sort of ordeal? Why this hectic journey yaar? You will be doing injustice to both the places as well as to your holiday. Ooty is about 800 km from pune. Going there on an average would take you about 12-13 hours. Whats the use anyway?

I would never advice such a hectic and whirlwind trip. You will not enjoy even a bit. Fatigue would take the toll.

From Pune, you if had never been to, go to Khandala or Mahabaleshwar, a prefect weekend retreat.

You can go to 'Kass plateau' the valley of flowers of Maharashtra, near satara.Its an exotic place and for a couple of days, you just love it.

Go to Ganapatipole near Ratnagiri. My point is that for just 2/3 days, it is not judicious to waste time on travelling. Your itinerary is fine for a period of 5/6 days.
