Me and my parents want to go to Jodhur

i) When is the good time to go there?
ii) There are some historical places in jodhpur. which are they?
iii) how long do we need to book our accommodation for?
iv) which is a good hotel there. i want in a medium range.

Good time to visit I must say in winters it will be very hot now Places to visit Jaswant Thada, Rai Ka Bag, Mehran Gadh and Ummaid Bhawan Palace for staying Hotel Sri Ram Excellecny and Nirali Dhani with a nice ethnic village feel

i) The best time to go would be between Oct - Mar though dec & jan might be too cold
ii) There are historical places. Beautiful ones. The obne you absolutely can't afford to miss is the Jodhpur Fort. Takes 3-4 hrs to see the fort properly but it is worth the time & effort. Wear comfortable footwear as you have to walk around
iii) Duration of stay would depend on the purpose of the visit. If you're going as a tourist, 3-4 days should be sufficient. You would get time for shopping as well.
iv)The Park Plaza hotel is good

JODHPUR IS WONDERFUL PLACE TO VISIT IN SEPT-DECEMBER.
GOOD HISTORIC PLACES INCLUDES CITY ITSELF, KILLA THAT IS MEHRANGARH FORT , MANDOR , CHITAR PLAACE , KAYLANA LAKE , WALK THROUGH CITY MARKET AND WALK FOR 3-4 KM

FOOD IS SO GOOD , YOU MAY LIKE TO STAY THERE HA HA, LIKE...MIRCHI-BADA , KOFTA , PYAZ KI KACHORI , DAHI BADE ETC IN NAMKIN LIST.
ABOUT SWEETS IT ALL OVER ...YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN 40 VARITIES AND ALL GOOD
TAKE LASSI FROM GHATI-GHAR

TOURIST BUNGALOW OF RAJASTHAN TOURISM IS GOOD

ALL THE BEST TO BE THERE FOR 3 DAYS

Best Time to Visit Jodhpur is Around Diwali i.e. Oct/Nov wheren it is not hot and not too cold.
Main Places to Visit are
1. MehranGarh Fort (Lift Facility is there to go on top of fort)
2. Jaswant Thada (50-60 Moderate Steps)
3. Umaid Bhawan Palace.
You can do Half day excursion tour to Bishnoi Village (20-25Kms.)
Hotel Ghoomar of RTDC is reasonably priced family hotel. You can read nmy review for this hotel on HolidayIQ. Two Days are Must. 3 can give you little leisure.
As far as restaurant is concern you can visit Hotel Gypsy which serves Thali as well as Fastfood / Continental.
