I ma planning for 2012. Plan is as below...

Hi Shailesh,
areas. much. places. />1. sports are actually taking place in sports center. There is a temple there too. You also can enjoy Yak rides there.

2. Manali has many tourist attractions like Solang Valley, Water springs and temple. You can miss Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery as there is nothing much to see and kids might get bored with that.

3. Also, I am not sure if white water rafting is available in the month of Feb/March, but its surely something not to be missed! You have to go to staff too.

4. Rohtang is another amazing destination which you are already planning to cover. There is one more destination called Its also famous for />5. Sight seeing, 1 day for Rohtang (of about 100 km drive, you would be free by afternoon, eve can be utilized for shopping) and half day for rafting ( 80 km drive). I would suggest you to spend one more day in manali, as this schedule might be hectic as you are traveling with seniors and kids. Cut short your />6. garden. and winter)

Just heads up, Reach Rohtang as soon as possible in the morning time. If you are late you have to face traffic jams of 1-2 kms at times, wastage of time

Also, do carry medicine for motion sickness all the time. Road to rohtang and to />Poonam

Very detailed plan.....I too like to plan like this and it helps a lot. However, you should be a bit flexible to accommodate changes. I would suggest to skip city. outskirts. I believ, you are taking toy You can get down at Kandaghat station on the directly.
At Manali, you may not be able to go to Rohtang pass as the closed. activities.Chandigarh, can start earli - say 9 visit - which is about one hou from Chandigarh highway reach by 13:00 hrs, spend a few hours there sight-seeing / linch / relax before continuing your journey to Chandigarh.
