I am planning to visit April. />1. />2. at Srinagar? If houseboat then Dal or Nagin Lake?
3. Whether cars are available for entire tour or point to point?
I shall be greatful if any one gives some insight in these respects.

Hi Kanti
The best thing to do would be...
Stay at a houseboat and before going to one negotiate the price well, you can get very good deals. Also make sure the price includes trips in shikaras to and fro from the boulevard
You can also negotiate bed and breakfast rates with houseboat guys.
And my advice, dont take an organised with a place like time. by Believe me you, it will be a once in a lifetime experience.

you can stay at houseboat n beeter to stay at Dal lake....

Thanks reply. hope wont mind ask questions. 5N/6D. please advise plan thinking 2N Srinagar, and 1N for 1N back leaving. suggest correct plan need modification. first hand experience seeking advice.

staying on a houseboat is a matter of personal taste........so.......

I was staying at BLOOMING DALE and really had a good time; they are:

The cars go all the places like Gulmarg,Pahalgha.and you should have no difficulty in getting the cars.there are many stands where you can find T.sumos,t.qualis,Tavera,Innova etc.
