Mumbai to Silvassa?

Hi

I am planning to visit Silvassa on July 1-2-3. Have a few queries regarding the same...

1.) I don't have personal . So how do I travel from Mumbai to Silvassa (Hill View Resort - 20 kms from Silvassa)

2.) If anyone has been to Hill View Resort in Khanvel, Silvassa or knows about the resort, what is your feedback on the same. Would you recommend it to family/friends?

3.) Is July a good time to visit Silvassa considering it is the start of monsoon. I am taking along my 1 year old son.

well u can travel by bus services.. m sure u can find bus service for silvassa .. or the nearest railway station is vapi .. and from thier u can hire taxi to silvasa.. but advisable would be your own transport.. so that u can travel of your own in and nearby silvasa.. monsoon would be great in silvasa.. as its green belt. if ur just going for relaxing at resort.. silvasa is a tourist cum industrial city . so their is no problem with any kind of stuff u may require for your kid( condition that ur staying in silvaSA).
i would suggest u to stay at resort during monsoon .. their r many resorts in silvasa to choose .. rass resort, daman ganga, lotus kamat ... these resort are just next to river.. which would b heaven during monsoon.. and treat resort , khanvell resort would be little far from silvASA..
i hv not been to hillview , i guess its more of a hotel .. u shud prefer the resorts i have mentioned.. they might be little costly .. but it wud b more fun staying their..

The best and fasted mode to reach Silvassa is train, most of them stop at Vapi station , go to the East side of the station and there are several auto's , a chartered auto will cost you about Rs 150-175 up till your resort, as for the weather in July, yes it's going to be rains and it's going to be fun
