Suggest me some good hotels in Mahabaleshwar? What is the best time to visit the place? Is it in the monsoons or winter or what part of the year? And i am looking for a hotel in a budget of 1000-2000.

We stayed in Hotel Rajesh. It was very good, veg. hotel. Tariff was approx 7500 = 4D/3N. We went in Feb but better period is after monsoon. Feb is also not bad but after monsoon all hill stations are better than any other period.

Either During Monsoons or immediately after Monsoons are the best time to visit.

am sort of winter guy - so i preferred November end till beginning ov February period. I visited Mahabaleshwar around Nov end and stayed at Lake View hotel, it is located Not in the market but very close to the market which means you have your own peaceful time with beautiful surrounding including walkable distance to the lake.

Just before or after the monsoon is the ideal period for visit.We stayed at Hotel Pratap Heritage, a nice one. You may refer my .
