Yercaud local tours Q&A

Am planning a visit to Yercaud in a few days. I would like to know if there is any local tourism company which conducts local tours in and around Yercaud. I would appreciate it if someone could give me a really fast reply. Thanks

Hi

Yercaud is not a very big place, actually you dont need a travel agency, you can see the whole of Yercaud in two half-day sessions. Lots of autos and taxis around. When we visited recently, we used the services of an auto-driver for local sightseeing. He also arranged a return taxi for us. He seems to have lots of contacts. If you wish you could contact him (9942485805) or else if you have already booked a hotel, the hotel could organise things for you (they would charge you 150-200 extra).

Dear Deepa,
Yercaud is not a big place and not much to see around, you can finish the sight seeing in one day. Don't worry just go their and arrange the transport.
I stayed in Lake forest resort which is one of the best resort in yercaud.

Thank you for your reply. Please excuse this delay in replying. I am presently in Yercaud and staying at the House of Peace.
Coincidently I did just what you suggested. I hired an auto for 2 days and saw the entire place.
