Agra has 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri.

Agra fort was rebuilt by Akbar in 1560s as his capital.Situated about 2.5 km from Taj Mahal, this fort bears the witness of Shah Jahan being kept at captivity by his son Aurangazeb and subsequently dying there.
