Bangalore Trip Q&A

Sir,
I need your guidance as I am planning a trip to Bangalore on 9th May
2010.I have already booked air tickets and will reach Bangalore on 9th May
2010 at 8.00 am.I want to include all tourist spots in and around
Bangalore and Mysore.I also plan to go to Ooty and Kodaikanal.My trip will last
about 6-7 days.
Please revert with your guidance.

For Mysore, I recommend using the day trip through Karnataka State Tourism buses starting from Bangalore. The details are available at this link.

Gives you a good idea about Mysore.However, the stops are small and do not allow you the luxury of a thorough walk-around and getting the full pleasure of all the sites. Plus, it is pretty taxing on your body by the end of the day. But a enjoyable trip for sure - talking out my experience.

Four places in seven days.
Hire a Taxi for seven days from the airport.
From the airport,one can visit the sightseeing places at Bangalore and by evening 0400 P.M.,one could be on the way to Mysore and reach Mysore by 0800 P.M.
Second day,one can finish sightseeing at Mysore.Night at Mysore.
Third day morning,one leaves for Ooty-four hours drive.
Third Day and fourth day,visit Ooty and Coonor.
Fifth day,leave for Kodiakanal-about five hours drive.
Fifth and sixth day,visit Kodaikanal.
Seventh day,drive from Kodaikanal to Bangalore-about ten hours drive.

Well I would say 2 days per destination except for Ooty and kodaikanal - can covered in a day each, that equals 7 days including travelling, hotel rooms will be available, just in case call up the hotels and book rooms...
