Agra in 2 days

Hi,
I will be visiting Agra on the 24th of July by 7 am. And will be leaving on 25th at night 8pm. I just have 2 days time. So i am planning to visit the Taj Mahal and the fort in one day. Is it enough or can i add anything else? And do let me know of the other attractions for he next day. Also i will be needing a a good hotel to stay in. Hope i get some help

Hi,
According to me 2 days time is enough in Agra but it all varies from person to person. and also according to me Hotel Marina is the best choice to stay in Agra.

Very doable>>>FIrst spend a morning at the TAJ...wake up early and get there at the early morning sunlight. Take the afternoon to visit the Agra fort and the evening on the way back to shop (if you like--everyone from the rickshaw puller upwards wants to take you shopping). The next day visit Fatehpur Sikri

You need to see three places ; taj, agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri. u can def doit in 2 days. There is a UP tourism hotel which is within walking distance from the Taj otherwise check out HolidayIQ site. You need to be aware that th eworst touts in the world are in Agra . Watch out.

It is more than enough. On the first day itself, you can visit the Agra Fort, Sikandra, Eimad-ud-Daulah and keep Taj Mahal for afternoon.

The second day can be kept for Fatehpur Sikri (about 50 kms.) Its another UNESCO world heritage site apart from Agra Fort & Taj Mahal. The trip to Fatejpur Sikri and adjoining Salim Chisti Darga and Buland Darwaja will take you about 4 hours.

I would recommend you the UPTDS property TAJ KHEMA. Its barely 300 meteres from the Eastern gate of Taj and offers a spectacular view. (P) 05622330140/05622230001.You can also try TAJ PLAZA about 500 meteres from Eastern gate, beside TAJ AMAR VILAS. (P) 05622232515/05626941550/05623294100.

You must not leave Agra without visiting Fatehpur Sikri.You can visit the places mentioned by you on the first day, and visit Fatehpur Sikri on the second day.It is about 50 kms. from Agra, and packs more history in itself than either the Taj or the Fort.
