Hi great to hear u are planning to visit Dehradun n Mussoriee. Well, for your three day stay there u can see various places of tourist and religious importance. you should choose dehradun as centre point of ur stay and from here you can use local transport to visit various places.

Lachi Wala: this is a place where you can go to plunge into away from heat of sun. it is around 15kms from dehradun on dehradun-rishikesh route.

Shastradhara: If you don't want to go to lachi wala you can chose this gud place as an option. 11 kms from city. you can get bus from parade ground for here. Place is famous for sulphur water which is believed to be the remedy for many skin diseases.

Tapkeshwar temple: Ancient temple which is formed in the natural rocks and the small river flowing alongside is very famous and must see. Buses going to Garhi Cantt will drop you here.

Shivratan temple: one more famous temple enroute Mussorie.

Mussorie Lake: Artificial lake where you can do boating and all. This is enroute Mussorie.

Mussorie: It is 35 kms from Dehradun. There is regular bus and taxi service from Railway station. In mussorie you can plan visiting Mall road(main road in mussorie), Camel back road( road on a peak in shape of camel's hump), Company garden(2Kms)(Good place with many entertainment options and boating), Kempty Fall(17kms)(Must go place).

If you have some extra time you could also plan going to Rishikesh(42 kms) and Chakrata(90 kms) from Dehradun. Hope this information is enough.
