Goa, surely, followed by Andaman & Lakshwadeep if you are the beach type; only Munnar if you are the mountain-type - all other so-called honeymoon hill stations (shimla, darjeeling, nainital, ooty, etc) are quite crowded.

of course, if you are looking at international, the choices are plenty... and not something I can throw light on! :)

Manali in Himachal Pradesh is one of the best Honeymoon Destination. It is not crowded with good accommodation for newly wed couples. It is also very economical .

Try the coffee estates homestay at coorg, chickmaglur in Karnataka or coonoor in the nilgiris. Its beautiful, virgin and quiet. You can have a rollicking time, get to know yourselves better, go back refreshed , taste local food and get to know local habits. The weather at this time will be heavenly, and for honeymooners it will be the best. Lots of privacy...... But have your own transport, that would be ideal. Give it a try, you wont regret .

Within India, I suggest you go to Munnar in Kerala. Its a marvellous place; amidst the back waters of kerala, covered with lush green forest, when in the morning you get up with the charping of birds in your cottage bed and at night when you watch the Moonlit forest in perfect tranquility and peace from the balcony of your cottage, you will remember me for giving you this suggestion !

Outside India, I suggest you visit Switzerland and spend some days in the famous Alps Ice igloos. Its an experience of a life time !
