I am from bangalore, I have decided to take my family to a trip to gujarat, by train or flight,
I would like to have details of somnath temple and dwarka, like distance from airport or rly station, and places ot see, vegetarian hotels, medium accomadation and transport facilities and also nearby places to visit in about 6 to 7 days in all

By train to dwarka from ahmedabad / bombay.
From bombay there is only one train for dwarka as given below:

Rent a car from dwarka for your entire trip.
Two nights stay at Dwarka.
From Dwarka to Somnath (250 kms max.) by car.
Two nights stay at Somnath

Drop the car at Diu and proceed to ahmedbad by bus (night journey).
Back to bangalore by plane / train.
Your trip will be of 6 nights and 7 days. No night journey at any of the locations.
