We want to expereince the nightlife and enjoyment of Goa and so we thot of bking a hotel in Anjuna beach. But is it too full of drugs and hippies? Would Indians feel comfortable there?
me being an indian hae stayed at the beach for long and places around as well. in Goa all you need is a scooty at Rs100/day and you can go whereever you want. Yes you would rather want to go to Arambol which is pretty neat with the sweet water arambol lake which is a secluded area.
If you want to enjoy the nightlife of Goa, Anjuna and Baga are ideal. There are lots of clubs, eateries and night markets in this area. There are all kinds of people including Indians and hippies too, but there are several options too so you can choose where to be accordingly.
If you want to avoid drugs and hippies, I would suggest to AVOID Arambol. It is a secluded area and there are not much options in case you do not enjoy the environment. You can make a day trip to Arambol anytime you wish without staying over there.
