Hi, I want to go a place some where around 100kms near Bangalore. should be a calm & a silent place..mind relaxing...no crowd at all..if anyone know some unexplored & a safe place, please suggest.. Awaiting for ur replies. Thanks in advance.

Try Bheemeshwari or ShivaSamundram.. Bheemeshwari is a camping site on the banks of River Cauvery ..you can go angeling or boating.. Shivasamundram is a waterFall and a Damn around 150 Kms from Bangalore.. look them up on the net for more detalis..you can also search them on http://www.flickr.com.. so that you can see various pictures of these places..have fun.

if u like to have calm, quite serene the best place is to choose from jungle lodges. around 100 km they've got three. bannerghatta national park ( 25 km ), doddamakali & beemeshwari
Hi Twinkle, There are a few places that may meet your needs however it is hard to find a place which is UNEXPLORED & SAFE. A few suggestions are as below: 1) Jungle Hut in the Madumalai forest foothills of Ooty, 2) Blue Mountain valley resort location same as above, 3) Munnar, 4) Cauvery fishing camp at Bheemeshwari, 5) Hampi ( tourism for ancient temples and architecture ) 6) Belur & Hallebid same as above.
However looking at your specific choice of distance, isolation & peace of mind my best choice would be "JALADHAMA RESORT" which is on the river cauvery and a boat will ferry you across to the resort from the banks. The area is Talakad and in the mornings you can at times here peacocks barking in the surrounding forest. The rooms are well maintained and the food very homely. Telephone coverage is a problem and only BSNL works. Hope I have been of help "Happy Holiday".
I do not of any place within 100 kms. But I would highly recommend Cicada Resorts at kabini Nagarhole. I consider Cicada resort much better option compared to Kabini jungle lodge. I stayed at Cicada Resorts in 2006. One of my most memorable holidays was spent there. Fantastic view, superb service,pretty & comfortable rooms. Worth every penny.
