Jaipur

[HT Readers]

Would we be able to go to Rajasthan trip in the month of july last week.?
I am scared about the climatic conditions there at that time may be too hot.
pl advise me about the same as am planning to see the forts and palaces of jaipur, jodhpur, jaislmer, udaipur, bikaner, chitorgrah, ajmer, pushkar, etc which is near by,
planning a 8n/9d trip , plz advise about the climate there 21st july 2008.

jaipur is any time city.. its beautiful..specially places n hotels n all r worth seeing... i have been there plenty of times ill now...n on climate u cant predict..as im just back from jaipur 2 days back.n weather was cloudy n windy so wasn't hot as such.. so u cant predict weather...but it should be fun for a sure....

Rajasthan is a all season place though it may be hot in the day but you can still make it also nights are definetely cool

Weather in Jaipur in last week of July will be hot and humid...without much rains. Evenings though would be pleasant. If you have decided on the plan, then look forward to the evenings and morning times for sigtseeing and relaxing in your hotel during the day.

I agree with what all others have to say about the mornings and evenings being cooler. Even in Nov when I was there last year the day time was hot. Given that the state is far north of the equator I can't imagine it being as humid and hot as Tamil Nadu, for example... enjoy the time, it's quite a fascinating place ... We stayed at the Shree Bhagirath Palace, a delightful experience.

Jaipur falls in an extreme and dry climate zone. July end would be warm and cloudy. Not any hotter than it can get so go on ..... that's the flavour of the place. Enjoy ur self!

I would suggest that you visit Rajasthan after the monsoons. The winter season is the best. 3rd week of Mar onwards till the whole of summer is the off season owing to the hot summer months.
