We are planning to take a cruise from Singapore in December for 4-5 days. Which is the best cruise to take? We have already been to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hongkong earlier. We only wish to experience a cruise holiday.
Go for Star Cruise! Thay are the best! Try for Star Virgo, it's similar to Titanic! They have different itinenaries suiting your choice,budget and locations. I guarantee, you wont regret and will have a holiday of the lifetime. Happy Cruising! Joyjeet
We did take the cruise in December. The dates of Star Cruises did not match our leave dates and so we sailed on the Royal Caribbean International ship called 'Rhapsody of the Seas'. The ship was very good and I think it must be as good as the Star Cruises though I have not travelled in Star Cruises. We took a four night cruise from Singapore called 'Isles of SouthEast Asia'. The ports of call were Phuket and Langkawi. The ship was like a floating five star hotel and we got a great deal as this was the first sailing in Asia. We were wondering if there would be other Indians, but we were pleasantly surprised to see nearly 300 Indians! Just goes to show that the travel bug has bitten the Indians! We had a junior suite on deck 8 with a balcony. There were a couple of Indian dishes in the menu everyday and we managed to get vegetarian food. Choice was limited, but ok. There was a show daily at the theatre and the casino was good. There were two swimming pools and lot of deck chairs at all the levels. There was a rock climbing wall, a gym, walking track, games room, karaoke, live bands, discos etc.The staff was very courteous and helpful. The shore excursions at Phuket and Langkawi were ok. One should go on a cruise I think only to enjoy the sailing and not bank on also seeing all the sights at the port of call. We will surely sail again I am sure!!!
