Lot of people have advised about travel card. The value in Travel card is only $10 but we have to pay $30 for it. I am wondering is it worth spending those extra $20.

In case you are refering to the travel card for the purpose of travelling in the MRT (subway train) in Singapore, then the cost of acquiring the same is SGD 10. It allows a moderate concession in MRT travel. However, if you intend to visit Singapore as a tourist then forget about it.
