Recommend this island called Ko Phi Phi, which you can reach on a ferry from Phuket or Krabi.
Try avoid the central commercial part and stay somewhere on the Eastern shore of the island. These accord more privacy. Although there may not be great hotels, but some "homestay" kind of offerings can be really great, since they would actually come and pick you from the Ko Phi Phi jetty, cook for you and even take you by boat for daytrips to the beautiful lagoon beach island that is immortalized in the movie "the Beach".
