My advise will be to travel via Madurai, advantages are :
1. You can cover Madurai also for half to one and half day
2. You will get excellent roads between KK and Madurai and Madurai and Rameswaram

kanyakumari- rameshwaram-madurai-bangalore.

if i follow ur route then it will become.

kanyakumari-madurai-rameshwaram-madurai-bangalore.

From tuticorin to rameshwaram is heard their is two lane road(good condition) till ramanathapuram.
i need the directions along this route.

Also i heard it is difficult to navigate inside toothkudi(tuticorin) city to find this road . I need help in this regard.

1st of all your choice of road is Wrong just opposite and difficult even that U will enjoy and there is way , that is adventure when u will travel by ur own car

KANYKUMAI TO TIRUNELVELI
TIRUCHANDUR KANYAKUMARI 85 KM
TUTICORIN TRICHANDUR 35 KM
OR TIRNEVELI 29 KM VIA MANIACHING JN. TO TUTICORIN 32 KM.
AND LAST OF ALL UR own choice of road vi NH7 And NH7A ROAD IS VERY GOOD AND EASY ,RAMESHWARM VIA MADURAI TO BANGALORE.
Al the National high way is very good
TUTICORIN TO MADURAI 3 AND1/2 HOURS JOURNEY AND ROAD IS VERY GOOD.
