low budget hotel in Goa

Hi everybody,

My 3 month trip of India is coming to an end and so far it has been an excellent experience. Now I am heading to my final destination. Goa. Heard about Goa even before I left home almost 3 months back. I will be staying here for 2 weeks. I am looking for a low budget hotel in Goa. I know there is North Goa and South Goa. I don't mind staying in either place and most probably I will be spending a week at each place. Please let me know if there are any backpacker hostels here. Even that would be pretty cool. I am pretty sure I would love the place and the next time I probably would stay at Goa for 3 months considering what I've heard so far. Hopefully you'll guys will help me.

Hi,

Please check with DonaJulia Resort in Goa-Calangute area.

I have been staying there for last 10 years, and it's a nice, place in a very reasonable cost. Owner of this resort is very helpful.

Hi Fleming,

I hope you had a nice stay in India. Now that you are off to Goa and a backpacker, I would suggest Hotel Kismat Mahal. Price is cheap and very close to the beach. It is located in Calangute and offers bikes, cars etc on rent. It is the cheapest & and a decent hotel run by a respected family. Charges are inr 750-800 i.e $14 a night w/o food, but there is a restaurant in the hotel & also around. Visit http://www.kismatmahalgoa.com

hotel kismat mahal is a cheap and reasonable hotel near calengute beach (not the main beach but near to it). however if u want to stay on the main beach go ahead for calengute residency (it will be a bit costly)
