Hi,

What is the best thing ? to convert INR into USD and then to MUR ?

Or Do we have any good Mauritius rupee currency exchange in bangalore or hyderabad ?

Hi, to get better rate always exchange US dollars or Euros, There is a big chain of forex in mauritius named Shibani money exchange they have many branches all over mauritius and you can bargain for a better rate if you hgive the 100, 500 dollars they offer normal rate for lesser denomination like 50 dollars etc...If u r going for mauritius one more tip for u, all hotels and resorts allow u to bring water from outside its always cheaper and better to get water bottles from supermarkets and road side bakeries, they have only one company of botteling water even hotel gives the same but 5 times rate is charged... The best advice would be to convert the Indian Rupees to Mauritian Rupees in India or else one will have to shell out INR 2.50 for 1 MUR.
The second best option is to convert Indian rupees to Euros.
Indian rupees also get better value at sporting zone in Belle mare enroute to Ile Aux Cerfs.
