How to reach Munnar by Car from Mysore?
Hope the Roads are OK ?
What is the distance or Appr Travel time pl.?

You can travel from Mysore to Munnar via. Ooty, Coimbatore,Udamalaipettai and take diversion to Munnar or go to Dindigul, Kodaikannalnand reach munnar. Roads re O K . The distance will be around 300 Kms and it all depends which way you take.

Hi,
The ideal route is via Bandipur - Masinagudi - Ooty - Coimbatore - Pollachi - Udumalapettai and move on via SH17 to munnar. The roads are a mixed bag, all types of stretches are present on this route. Distance is about 370km and is expected to take a little over 10hours.

The distance between Mysore & Munnar is 336 km. The road journey of about 6 hours takes you through SH-17 or NH-209. Roads are fine.
