hi, I'm planning to visit mandalpatti in june or july. I wanted to know the distance of the place from mysore? Also is it a good time to visit in june/july for 1 day trip specifically to that place?
Can i take my Toyota Innova to that place? And what is the travelling time from mysore to mandalpatti?

From Mysore it takes anywhere between 2:15 mins to 2:45 mins to reach madikeri. Another 40 mins from Madikeri to Madalapatti. It depends on when Monsoon comes, if you are planning to go in next one week then can go as MOnsoon is not hiting by that time.
My opinion, reach Madikeri and stay in Madikeri town overnight and then climb Madalapatti in early morning.

Sorry, I have not visited this place , though I had been to COORG several times. Is it any important tourist place ?

This place is good for trekking. Regarding Monsoon, its your luck.

sorry i have not been to mandalpatti though i have been to coorg [madikeri] twice.i however feel that this not the right time.it will be either hot or wet.i went to coorg in april and it was very hot in the day not at all like a hill station.
