m want to visit rajaji national park with my family..plz suggest me there time table n about luch,where is best suitable night halt .....haridwar or rishikesh...n how to reach there by road....how many ruppis rent of taxi for four person,..thnx

"Rajaji National Park is situated in the state of Uttaranchal, now known as Uttarakhand. The picturesque beauty and rich biodiversity of the park serve as its major attractions for both nature lovers as well as wildlife enthusiasts. All visitors to Rajaji National Park need entry permits in order to be allowed into the park. Permits are available at each of the gates to the park, and cost Rs 30 for Indians and Rs 350 for foreigners. These permits are valid for three days; if you wish to stay longer, you’ll have to pay Rs 20 a day.

Regarding stay, you dont need to halt at haridwar or Rishikesh instead stay in Eco-freindly cottages available at Wild Brook Retreat near Gohari range of Rajaji National Park via Kaudia village close to Vindhyawasini Temple.

Well, I would recommend that you stay in a Forest rest house, maybe the one in Chilla. But if you want to stay outside, I will suggest that you stay in Haridwar/Rishikesh as you are going with the family. Wild Broooks is very good for group of young people or a couple. I will not recommend it for a family
