It takes one day tour to Chilika, on the way u can also visit 2 other temples. One full day can be used for sightseeing to Konark, Konark Beach, Dhauli and bhubaneswar. Lingaraj temple and Nandan Kanan are a must see in Bhubaneswar. Remaining two days can be spent in local sight seeing. Puri beaches are just fantastic.

Hi
1. Chilika Lake is accessible from two sides. One is closer to Puri often known as Dolphin point. The other is Barakul which is a bit far. The real Chilika can be experienced if you stay atleast one day in Barakul.
2. The best is to start with Tapta paani and stay at chilika. Next, move to puri.
3. All places you have mentioned takes a day to visit. But it will be nice if you spend a day during full moon in konark.

Cheers / S100

I had my holiday at Sterling Resorts in March this year. The food (Veg) was good and our stay was pleasant.
I suggest that you hire a taxi and go round Chilka and
Gopalpur. One word of caution, the travel desk fellow at Sterling Resorts is a cheat.
If you want to stay overnight at Chilka you can stay at the Panth niwas. Hotel Oberai is right on the beach at Gopalpur and you'll have good time there.

Don't mix Gopalpur with Puri. These two places are different destinations. You may cover both places if you have at least 6 days in your hand. In Puri, the sea view is magnificent. You may go to Konark, Pipli, Raghurajpur. You must go to Nandankanan, Dhauli, Udaygiri, Khandagiri and also Satpara. Three nights are inadequate for Puri. So don't hope to visit Gopalpur. Make another programme for Gopalpur, for which you have to get off at Berhampore station.
