hello everyone, thanks for ur advices, does anyone here knows whats the timings of toy train from neral? any number through which i can confirm if any enquiries and does this train run in 2nd week of february and the tickets can be booked before boarding or we have to book in advance? kindly reply, thank u all for ur suggestions

For the sake on convenience you can book a e-ticket thru http://www.irctc.co.in. This ways you can be sure of getting a window seat

There are 4 trains per day, the first one at around 7 am and the last at around 5 pm. Toy train is a good idea only if you want to spend time leisurely and are in no hurry. It takes approx 2 hrs to reach matheran, whereas through the taxi its hardly a 20 mins ride.

Personally, I loved the ride as the view and the beauty of the surrounding was amazing. My best experience has been in the last train in the evening, I got to view the most breathtaking sunset in recent times. Make sure you stack yourselves with water and some light snacks. Happy Journey
