My favourite domestic airline is Jet Airways. The cabins are clean & the crew is professional. Kingfisher is very jazzy and they try to give you some free stuff. But not good. The low cost airlines are not good either. What do you think?
I think it really depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking for luxury travel, with meals and in-flight entertainment? if yes then airlines like Jet and Kingfisher are good. If you are looking at really travelling and chosing an air travel option to save on time then you have several options, like spice jet, indigo, air deccan, go air, etc.
Well i think...Kingfisher airlines is the best domestic airline in India...most of them are new aircrafts...obviously good seats...nice cabin crew....very good food, no delays,and forget about the free stuff they give..coz i dont think that matters any one.... and after kingfisher its Jet airways...in terms of everything
Kingfisher is my choice... great aircrafts, good service, good food (excellent desserts, usually) and most importantly lots of leg space. Jet has been playing catch up ever since KF was launched - added video screens (very few aircrafts, though), started e-ticketing and now they are talking about one row of seats removed to provide more leg space !
Recent ads of Jet claims that they have removed a row to make seating comfortable. About 30 inches made way to make comfortable more than 30 rows. Still the most unconfortable leg space in Indian air. Look at recent records: Quite a number of air misses, an accident on the ground makes Jet the most unsafe airliner in India.
Have you travelled by LCC Indigo and Spice Jet? They are very , very good. Their service is far superior to that of full service airliners.Indigo is truly great with new aircrafts, on time schedules and very friendly approach. Incidentally, Jet's share of the Indian Market is falling while that of the LCC's is showing constant upward trend.Pl see DGCA's website for details.

kingfisher..hands down, beats jet by a landslide..i am surprised no body talked about the inflight magazine and also love the part when Vijay Mallaya pops in your entertainment system and says , "if you have any problem in the flight, contact me directly" or something like that..lol..one exuberant guy...lol
