Can we travel to devprayag and rudraprayag from rishikesh in a day and come back? If yes how ?

It is possible to do a Rishikesh-Devprayag-Rudraprayag day trip but you will have to strat early. The total distance from Rishikesh to Devprayag is about 78 km and could take about 2 hrs to cover. Rudraprayag is another 65 km from Devprayag and would take approximately the same time.
The only way to do this is to drive, on your own or in a taxi. Taxi could be faster as the local drivers are used to this route.

Dear Mousumi,
It may be theoretically possible to cover Devaprayag & Rudraprayag & return within a day. However you may not enjoy the minimum serene beauty of these two places iin a day. You require atleast two full days for this . Start early morning by own vehicle to devprayag. After reaching there enjoy the surrounding area & move to Rudraprayag in the evening & spend the night over there. Next day early morning start enjoy the beauty of the confluence at Rudraprayag & its surrounding areas. Start in the afternoon & return to Rishikesh at night.
