"My overall expeerience was wonderful...."

Best Experience: I would say each and every event was luxorious and enjoyable. The sigh seeing was special, the dinning hall was special. I wish to make a special mention of Mr Siva the head attendant in Dinning Hall who would go to each and every gust to ensure he was getting food of his choice and would talk to them to make them comfortable. I do not remember the name but the lady attendant in dinning room was equally good and would communicate with all laddies sitting in dinning room to ensure they were being served with their requirments. It was wonderful while Luxorious but homely expeerience. Thanks to Hotel Carlton.
Worst Experience: None. I just have one remark to make. Save Kodaikanal. I see it becoming commercial place and if this continues soon it will loose its wonderful charm. Don\'t let that happen

"The Carlton is quite worthy..."

Best Experience: 1. The restaurant offered a great fare for breakfast and meals. The staff led by one Mr Senthil was always willing to do the extra bit for our kids\' requirements. 2. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The rooms on the upper floors offer a great view of Kodai lake.
Worst Experience: No worst experience to speak of, but some areas for improvement: 1. The room service menu could do with better choices and probably faster service. 2. The travel desk seems to offer the most expensive deals in town. But are willing to climb down if you ask. 3. House-keeping, though quite good, could become a bit more meticulous. We found the area under the beds a bit dusty.

Best Experience: cycling around the lake and going shopping to nearby food world... it was like forgotten times. Who cycles in the city anymore .... plus you can never find such clean surroundings in any city anymore.
