good hotel, location was nice, destination was great, nice hotel to stay, service was good, The best thing the hotel have is their staff and the services. The room quality is good, food was in nice quality, over all it was a nice stay with nice experience.

Total value for money, had the best of times when we went to Lansdowne on a biking Trip with a couple of my buddies, took a 3 bed room for Rs. 900, though I still think it was a lil expensive and the room could have been a lot better...did not try their bamboo huts though (Rs. 2000 p.d. was quite expensive)..but the food at their lil restaurant was just amazing...they also provide cab facilities incase anybody wants to visit Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple but we chose to ride our motorbikes there...all in all a decent stay at a heavenly place...for under Rs. 1200 per head for 2 days wasnt a bad deal at all...

This is a good hotel..Rooms are well maintained, clean..and beautiful..Try staying at bamboo hut on the rooftop..Its too beautiful. Even the deluxe rooms are tasteful.. Definitely try the cuisines at Zayka just adjacent to Mayur.

Best Experience: There were no rooms available when we checked in. They offered us the rooftop bamboo hut, which was a cozy and beautiful place to stay. Room service was good. Staff were friendly. Since this hotel is located in the small market place, every amenities will be readily available. The market place closes by 8 in evening. so suggested to stay near by.

Worst Experience: Nothing worst about it.. But if u want a hill view from your window then its not possible

I & my wife went to Lansdowne in the month of January \' 11.I came to their hotel on 08.01.2011 in the morning. Mr. Vijoy Agarwal, the owner of the hotel received me very cordially & given me a good room. On the same day after reaching, i fall on sick severely with an acute pain in abdomen & was not able to stand even. My wife was very much afraid & went to Mr. Vijoy and told him regarding my sickness. Mr. Vijoy told her to take me to the Army hospital where his wife is the doctor. We went to the hospital & Mrs. Vijoy treated me & given injection. We stayed in their hotel for three days & they ware very attentive to us. Even the day when we were departing, they allowed us to stay further few hours without charging any amount from us. We are grateful to the entire family as they have taken the care of us in a place where we don\'t have any connection. I was not able to thank them after reaching Calcutta as because i lost their phone number. I am posting this to inform all member of Holiday IQ about this good behavior of the Mayur hotel Management.
