About Gangtok Holiday Packages

Gangtok packages must include a sightseeing tour to some of the most historic and beautiful sights in Gangtok like Tsomgo Lake, Pemayangtse Monastery, Himalayan Zoological Park, Deer Park and Tashi Viewpoint. Nature observers must ensure that their travel package includes a visit to the Tsomgo Lake, 40 km away from Gangtok, to spot Brahmini ducks and other migratory birds. A popular destination among couples and families, Gangtok has a lot of activities to offer. Travellers, especially adventure enthusiasts and families travelling with kids, are recommended to opt for packages that offer a few activities like trekking, nature walks and river rafting on River Teesta as part of the deal. Also, tours that offer guided-sightseeing expeditions as part of the package inclusions, are a great bet for large families and groups. Your travel itinerary must allow you some free time to explore local markets like Lal Bazaar for shopping and for trying out local delicacies like momos and thukpa. A few package tours might include visits to stores that offer local handicrafts. Instead shop for State Emporiums that sell fair price products.
