Detailed Itinerary

Day 1


Welcome to your 'Rajasthan All Inclusive' tour. On arrival at Jaipur International Airport, you will be met by our Cox and Kings representative, who will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to relax, enjoy hotel facilities or to pursue independent activities. In the evening, get ready for a welcome dinner with an Indian Family. You will get to see sari draping demonstration - a traditional Indian wear, which can be draped in various styles. Also, you have the option of getting designer Mehandi (Henna) applied on your hands, a local tradition. Follow this up with a dinner of local delicacies. Overnight in Jaipur (L, D)
Day 2


After a leisurely breakfast, commence your day with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires. Continue on drive to the ancient capital of Amber to see the fabulous Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. Following your visit to Amber, visit the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing; situated in the shadows of historic 16th century Amber Fort in a painstaking restored old haveli. It is probably the only museum of its kind in the world where one can observe the entire process of hand-block printing from carving of wooden blocks to transformation of raw fabric into a piece of art. Continue for a Royal lunch at the charismatic 1135 AD located inside the ramparts of the fort. Arrive at a farm as the majestic hosts - elephants greet you! Spend time with these wonderful creatures as you feed them, decorate them with natural colours and enjoy a ride on them. The remainder of the evening is free for you to relax at the hotel or explore the city at your own pace OR we recommend you choose from one or more of our optional dining experiences. You may learn how to wrap the traditional attire, Sari and design your palms with Henna art followed by dinner with a lady from the Royal family OR enjoy a flavoursome Chinese meal at the specialty restaurant of your hotel. Day 3


Spend the day at leisure. Or we recommend you choose from one or more of our Optional Experiences. Jaipur, capital of the splendidly colourful state of Rajasthan, which is synonymous with royalty is a 'must see' destination in India and finds a cherished place in the minds of its visitors. Jaipur is also a shopper's delight where one can find traditional artefacts, home furnishings, fashion wear, pottery, gems and jewellery and exquisite handicrafts. Enjoy a shopping tour or indulge in a culinary retreat, spend time with majestic elephants - bathing, feeding and painting them or you may choose to visit Samode village with lunch at a palace. Get a bird's eye view on a hot-air balloon ride, enjoy folk culture and traditional thaali meal or travel to Sanganer or Bagru to get an overview of the old textile-printing style. The options are endless, whatever you are searching for, Jaipur is sure to have it! Overnight in Jaipur (B)
Day 4


After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Jodhpur. On arrival, you will check into your hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is free to explore the city at your own pace or we recommend you choose from one of our Optional Experiences. In the evening, join an Indian family and explore the gastronomic delights of Jodhpur, as a family member demonstrates cooking of the local cuisine followed by a sumptuous dinner. Day 5


Enjoy a half day guided tour of Jodhpur, which includes a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. The 5-kilometre long majestic Mehrangarh Fort is set on a 125 metre high hill and is one of the most impressive and formidable structures in Rajasthan; inside the fort are a series of courtyards and palaces. Continue to Jaswant Thada which is located at a short distance from the fort and is a white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The afternoon is at leisure. Also called the 'Blue City', the contrast created by the scores of blue houses against its golden sands makes Jodhpur one of the most beautiful cities of Rajasthan. Explore the soul of Jodhpur with its myriad expressions - enjoy a walking tour in the old town or go on a village safari in the countryside to get an insight into the lifestyle of the Bishnoi community or you may travel to Osian for a camel ride in the desert including a hearty meal. The dining options here are many overlooking the magnificent fort or you may indulge in a blissful spa treatment in the city's renowned Spa. Overnight in Jodhpur (B)
Day 6


After breakfast, proceed on a drive to Udaipur, en route visiting the exceptionally beautiful Jain Temples of Ranakpur. On arrival in the romantic City of Lakes, you will check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax, enjoy hotel facilities or to pursue independent activities. Why not take a leisurely swim or a relaxing massage. Overnight in Udaipur (B, L)
Day 7


This morning, visit the City Palace, an intriguing mixture of Rajput and military architecture and Mughal-style ornamental techniques. Its firm, fortress-like facade, topped by a plethora of graceful balconies, cupolas and turrets, has been justly described as a massive plain cake topped with fabulous icing. Continue to Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the maids of honour), a small ornamental garden which was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. Proceed to view some of the famous miniature paintings, the intricate brushwork made from natural colours of vegetables, precious stones, indigo, conch shells, pure gold and silver. Continue to walk through the colourful and bustling markets. Browse through the shops selling embroidered and block printed fabrics, jewellery, paintings and carved wood artefacts. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Pichola - the picturesque lake that entranced Maharaja Udai Singh and inspired him to build Udaipur. The lake is surrounded by hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats and embankments. Return to the hotel and rejuvenate at the luxurious spa of your hotel with a Soul Mantra treatment to enhance the very essence of your health and wellbeing. Overnight in Udaipur (B, L, D)
Day 8


After breakfast, the morning is free. Or we recommend you choose from one or more of our Optional Experiences. Also called 'Venice of the East', Udaipur is located in the Aravalli ranges of the royal state of Rajasthan. Surrounded by ancient mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, it is a beautiful old city with narrow lanes meandering through it. Explore the outskirts of Udaipur on a trek through charming hamlets or cycle around the Old city to get an insight into local lifestyle. You may In the afternoon, proceed for a splendid lunch followed by viewing of Vintage Car collection of the Royal House of Mewar. The Maharanas of Udaipur once owned and used these regal splendours as their luxuries; the variety of classic and interestingly rare vehicles includes Cadillac, Rolls Royce and Mercedes models to name a few. Return to the hotel for some time at leisure. You have the choice to end your trip in Royal style - enjoy drinks at the Royal Panera bar, with its authentic decor of glass inlay work, huge chandeliers and ornate mirrors, offers a wide selection of snacks and drinks. Continue to the renowned Sunset Terrace for dinner overlooking the dramatic views of Udaipur's most famous landmark palaces. Overnight in Udaipur (B, L, D)
