Day 1

Arrive New Delhi

Arrive New Delhi airport, meet & greet by our representative with Garland welcome & mineral water bottle & transfer to your hotel for overnight. Overnight in Hotel at Delhi.
Day 2

New Delhi - Jodhpur By Flight

Morning transfer to airport to board flight for Jodhpur. It is called the Gateway to Thar, as it is literally on the edge of the Thar Desert. It is also called the "Sun City" as the sun shines very bright. Jodhpur is a historic city and it was founded by Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rathore clan in the year 1459 AD & it is named after him. On arrival at Jodhpur Airport, pick-up & drive about 45 Kms to Rohet. On arrival in Rohet, check into heritage hotel Rohet Garh & relax. Overnight in Hotel at Rohet.
Day 3

Jodhpur

Morning after breakfast, drive to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Rajasthan. It is called the Gateway to Thar, as it is literally on the edge of the Thar Desert. It is also called the "Sun City" as the sun shines very bright. It is also referred to as the "Blue City" due to the blue-painted houses around the Fort. On arrival Jodhpur, check into the hotel & relax. In the afternoon visit the Majestic Mehrangarh Fort. The fort is located in the heart of the old city on 125-metre high & over 5km wide hill. After that visit Jaswant Thada (also known as Taj Mahal of Jodhpur), later proceed for the visit of colourful market of Jodhpur & see the tiny shops line both sides of the narrow lanes in these markets. You can find textiles, silver, handicrafts, aromatic spices, vegetables and Indian sweets in these shops. Later back to hotel & relax. Overnight in Hotel at Jodhpur.
Day 4

Jodhpur-Luni By Drive/Luni-Satlana

Morning after breakfast in hotel drive to Luni & here you meet horses & crew members. After introduction start your safari. The ride goes through dry flat area. Enjoy the performance of the camps folk musicians. A Camp barber who also does massages will be available to relieve you of any aches and pains of the hard days ride. . Overnight stay in Deluxe Luxury Camp.
Day 5

Satlana-Ghana (32 Kms / About 5 Hrs Ride)

After breakfast, get ready for ride. Being very sandy the going is slow leaving the river bed the ride takes you through villages and dry scrub country the festival of colour holi has just passed so in this region people are still celebrating with dancing and drum music. The camp is in the field of a farmer in the evening we may have the farmers family or other ladies of the nearby village come visiting our camp. Overnight in Deluxe Luxury Camp.
Day 6

Ghana-Karmavas (30 Kms / About 5 Hrs Ride)

The ride on this day will take you through flat dry desert land arid but not sandy. Riders will be surprised at the clean well-maintained clay houses of the villagers. The movement will be west / northwest and as they approach the camp site low hills of the Aravali ranges will be visible on the horizon typical desert flora will be seen on this day. Overnight in Deluxe Luxury Camp.
Day 7

Karmavas-Asotra (32 Kms / About 5 Hrs Ride)

Riding towards the hills passing acacia clusters you cross the village of Mangala the lunch spot is in the backdrop of the hillock facing the dry Luni riverbed. We are lucky to find few trees of the 'Jaal' which offer cool shade for rest after Lunch ride on to Asotra a big surprise..a green belt. Around Asotra aquifer created by the ancient saraswati river basin from 2000 BC has been discovered. As a result farmers pump water by electric pumps and raise crops and riders will go through this fertile oasis belt. Our camp is in a farmers field and riders are able to meet the villagers and the family. Overnight in Deluxe Luxury Camp.
Day 8

Asotra-Balotra Fair (tilwara)

Ride on to Balotra to reach the exiting fair. Lunch en-route just beyond Jasol. Evening reach Tilwara. Explore exploring the fair grounds on arrival. Evening campfire and folk entertainment. It was here many centuries ago that the famous ruler Mallinathji ruled. He is worshipped as a divinity. The temple to Mallinathji is located on the opposite bank of the dry river Luni from Tilwara village. The fair is a photographer paradise. It takes a visitor to atmosphere of biblical times. One feels to have walked into the past. This fair is much larger then the famous Pushkar or Nagaur camel and cattle fair and is not frequented by tourists. At sunset and sunrise there is spectacular display of horse rider on the flat riverbed. It is an unspoiled horse fair. Overnight in Deluxe Luxury Camp.
Day 9

Balotra Fair

Morning and evening ride. Afternoons explore the fair grounds. Evening campfire and folk entertainment. Overnight in Deluxe Luxury Camp.

Day 11

Balotra Fair-Jodhpur By Drive/Jodhpur-Delhi By Flight

Morning ride around fair ground. After lunch drive to Jodhpur (4 hr). Later transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi at Airport, pick-up by our representative & transfer to Hotel.
