First of all, the hotel staff are the local experts in sensing / predicting the weather condition. They shouldn't have taken a reservation at the first place if the weather would be like this or atleast kept the customer apprised with the situation before confirming the booking (before getting the advance amount) . . I had a worse experience staying in the resort for two days. Every other hotel available in and around hill area / areas with temperature prevailing around 10s or 15s deg C will have a heater setup available, but in destiny farm stay, there are no room heaters available (which is a basic requirement). When guest asks for that, they make it a point to charge them for that as well The water heater should be on all throughout the day for people to stay safe in the resort, but that's again in a schedule (6AM to 10AM) and (6PM to 10PM). In such a pathetic weather like what was there in the resort for the 2 days, we should ideally have the water heater on 24 hours (which is a basic requirement again) but Destiny Farm stay never did that. All thro' the last 2 days, we were stuck inside the room and unable to make use of any of the outdoor events but they still charge the guest for all that (room charges should be inclusive of that) Food is overpriced for the quality and taste! Obviously I didn't expect to pay 4. 6K odd rupees for 2 days for a substandard quality of food No Mobile connection, no proper WiFi setup (Rain Water shortsighted the router point, it seems) Overall, a pathetic experience and I had wasted approx. 30k for such a stupid experience. Kudos to all the efforts taken up by the resort crew in ensuring I spend a worthless weekend at the property Finally, to the resort people, "Don't be money minded, that will never take you guys anywhere. "

Had been here with my 3 years old. So I was looking forward for some fun for my kid. And Destiny Farms made our holiday unforgettable They have a horses stable with good number of horses there. The little one got so excited see it as she was even allowed to feed them. They also give you a good horse ride They also have a cows milking unit. Here they take you and practically explain you how they take milk from the cow. Yet again another brownie point from my little one Also they have a small pond with few ducks which obviously excited my little one Apart from the excitement for kids, it is indeed located so beautifully with greenery all around. They also have good options like karaoke, river crossing and much more Also they experience of just getting there is awesome as you cannot take your car inside. You need to park your cars at their set location and from there they take you in their van through the rugged-muddy roads and you feel like you are travelling between the woods Overall a fantastic stay.

Recently back from a vacation and while the overall experience was good there are couple of things that should be improved . 1)The resort being pet friendly, there were couple of stray dogs that came in to the property which created some tense moments for me . 2)The food choices are limited . 3)If you prefer to eat your food outside the restaurant, you need to deal with a lot of flies . The phones in both the rooms that we stayed did not work and was definitely inconvenient . 4)Please ask the front desk to explain everything even if you have got all the details in an email about your package.

Terrible experience according to the tariff, it just a normal room. Everything was expensive. The appearance was very good, location was also excellent. Rooms and the food were not reasonable. Services were bad, the staff's behaviour was pathetic. Pick up and drop facility was available because it was located in the forest. I only stayed at this place for an hour.

This was my annual vacation that I have been planning for quite some time. With lots of research and reviewing, I free zed on DESTINY FARMSTAY. I stayed here for 2 days during January 26-27 with my family (wife & 8 year old daughter). We just loved the resort, especially the location, landscape & sceneries. It was an out of the world experience. If you do not mind the extremely expensive cost of stay and expensive food bills', you will definitely enjoy this place. Below are some highlights: . . * Absolutely beautiful & stunning view from wherever you are in the resort. Filmy location anywhere you see is for sure * Very decent rooms. I prefer 'superior room' when compared with standard and deluxe rooms, because the superior room has a private balcony & electric kettle * Superior rooms are in first floor, while the standard and deluxe are in ground floor with shared sit-outs. However, the view from all the rooms are the same * Hot water is available during morning & evenings. However it is also made available at other times on-request * Food served is good, but not worth the hefty price they charge. Buffet is served in the noon and night. Ala chart is also an option * Room service is excellent * The staff are very helpful and polite * Non availability of TV and Mobile network is a blessings, as it helps us enjoy the nature without getting distracted * They have lots of complimentary activities planned, which keeps us engaged throughout the day. Some activities are complimentary, however others are not, and very expensive * Complimentary activities are: horse riding, short trek, fishing, access to indoor games, visit to dairy farm, stud, evening barbeque, bonfire * The short trek around the resort in the morning was refreshing, where we could explore the surrounding hills and a neighbouring dam view * Horse riding in the misty mornings is an absolutely wonderful experience, because of the ambience * We can watch the poultry staff milking the cows during the evening. Kids would love to watch this * I enjoyed the zip line activity, and my daughter enjoyed the monkey crawling activity (both cost 350 each as it was not complimentary). Will try to attach the pic of a list * We caught a big fish during the fishing activity in the small pond. The two swans in the pond make the ambience much more amazing * We can while away the evenings by just sitting in the balcony, or just walking across the hills. Such a peaceful and romantic atmosphere * Presence of electric kettle in the superior room is so useful, as the climate demands more intake or coffee/ tea sitting in the balcony * Kids will certainly enjoy the stay because of various factors like: grassy hills all over to play around, horse riding, grazing cows, adventure activities, indoor activist like glass painting, pot painting etc * They also grow some exotic vegetables next to the restaurant. It's a nice experience to visit and see them * Overall an awesome place to visit once, to experience the charismatic weather and ambience Ooty can provide us.
