The overall experience was amazing as the host Ravi was simply a great host. The building is located in front of a hill which is quite good and the rooms are simply amazing and spacious and beautifully and tastefully decorated and equipped. The best thing is that u can take a bus from Conoor bus stop to Bantumi and reach at Nest in 15 mins. So it is very much possible to reach here even till 9-10 PM..

Best Experience: The food was simply amazing..and the caretaker Ravi cooks very good food and is very helpful.

Worst Experience: Nothing...but if u hv some special needs then u better buy it before reaching there as its a very small place.

Ravi and his wife (caretakers are sweet, helping, have good conduct and quite approachable for suggestions and tips). Food was execellent. I always believed that good simple homely fresh, hot and tasty. The view from the cottage was superb. Personally, I liked the quiet, tranquility the place has to offer. Hot water from geyser was good. Hammock at the entrance was refreshing. My son enjoyed the food the most. It was a memorable quiet holiday rather than than spending in a commercially exploited hotels and irritating tourist crowd in Ooty at this time of the year.

Best Experience: Trekking towards Ralliah Dam was very good, thats the cleaniest, quite place, all alone by yourself among nature was what i liked the most. Bonfire was good
Overall a good package. Watching wild bison on the hills, supported by Ravi.

Worst Experience: Lots of houseflies in the dining area. Very sick.............. Tatasky did not have any channels other than Tamil, even kids channels were not there, kid found it boring once back in the room.. Cleanliness of the washroom area and general housekeeping everyday of the stay in the dining area and in the guests room.

The Nest is the perfect getaway! Away from the crowds and located in tranquil surroundings with a fantastic view of the Nilgiris. There are tea gardens all around and you have the opportunity to pick up fresh carrots from the surrounding fields. The rooms are airy and big surrounded by the most delightful garden full of varied flowers with a bird house to boot!

Best Experience: We went carrot picking in the morning to the fields below and the farmer over there welcomed us into his home and took us around his fields. He also climbed the peach tree in his garden and plucked some fresh peaches for us! My son and daughter enjoyed the whole field experience the most! Ravi, the caretaker, prepared some very delicious meals while we were there and he is the most polite and informative man that one could ever meet.

Worst Experience: Since it was the season, there were a lot of flies. However, I\'m given to understand by the caretaker, Ravi, that this is phenomenon only in the summer months and goes away by Jun.

We had a wonderful stay at \'The Nest\' Coonoor, Great location of the resort, Good food and peaceful stay, away from the tourist crowd of OOTY & Coonoor.

Best Experience: 1. Artistic approach in designing the rooms of the resort
2. Great view from the resort and from the room as well
3. Chance to meet the natives of Coonoor
4. Dinner room was awesome with antiques and nice music being played
5. Descent privacy
6.Very friendly staffs (Non-commercial approach)
7. Walk to a Ralieh dam was awesome (dont miss this place)
8. DVD player in the room was very nice option
9. Totally isolated from the tourist crowd
10. Brid Watching & Photography
11. Cost effective & Ideal place for family

Worst Experience: 9 kms from the Coonoor town, hence need to travel if you plan to visit the tourist spots.

The rooms were very spacious. Nest the is an excellent place for a family to go for a change from the Summer. The stay was pleasant and the service was good.Mr,Ravi Kumar the care taker deserves compliments and his delicious dishes as per our request was nicely prepared and served.the cost at very reasonable price.

Best Experience: the rooms spacious, cosy and comfortable. each room for each couple.
Food delicious. for the price it is worth.

Worst Experience: nothing to comment.
Mr.Ravi Kumar must get an assistant to look after the upkeep and maintenance.I request Mrs. Chandra to get him an asst. to deal with the upkeep and maintenance on a regular basis. but as I said nothing to comment.except this minor thing.
