I selected Green paradise Resorts as my first day's accommodation place... More » I was dreaming to visit Wayanad for last few months and it came true on May 2013. It was a family vacation for me for 3 days. I selected Green paradise Resorts as my first day's accommodation place after seeing the photos & reviews in different websites. I stayed at Rock house in the resorts. Only 1 rock house is available in the resorts , so booking should be made in advance to get it on the desired date. It was a really different experience to stay in a Rock house. even though it was an added construction along with the Rock, it seem like a big rock itself. The amenities inside was good. the Bath tub was made like a natural pool which we all liked a lot. The surrounding were really greenery and gave a feeling of staying inside a rock which is inside a forest. The staff were really help ful. The drive to Resorts from main road is really exciting. Very narrow road with lots of gutters , but I took the challenge of driving my own vehicle, which was a memorable drive. Positives- Nice location Comfortable Rooms Nice food ( Lunch was good, but not dinner) Staff are really good & helping Negatives- Costly when compared to other resorts with same facilities The amenities provided like Chess board, Carom board etc. are missing the chess pieces and coins. But a very horrible experience with the resort interms of arrangements. inspite of repeated reminders no written communication provided. Only oral communication which ended with more of denials in terms of food arrangements.even after coming back the manager called up and checked how much money paid as advance which was paid in their account.
